Drifters in server

#1 by JAGG. , Mon Jan 10, 2011 6:03 pm

Ok here's the thing,

I dont know with you guys but the drifters in the server are a pain in they ass.
I bringing this up in discusion because i cant take it anymore!
The server is a race server for my part of view right? 2nd thing is that most of the people are only racing to:)

for example: i was driving for bonus+pb and in a corner a drifter shows up... bye bye pb:(

i mean this seriously guys, if it was a drift server the server would have callt: "[CCS] Drift Server" i'm a right?
Well, i hope you feel the pain with me and bring this point to discusion:)

Grtz,

i'm the same opinion :D, officers or cadets should fine the drifters :), drifiting should be allowed, but only on the right side!

Server name is Crazy Cruise not crazy racing server . We cant allow one part of our drivers do races and prohibit drifting for other cruisers in same time!
Personally i don't like the drifters on track too, but i also don't like full speed crashers (racers) on my side.

So rules are the same for everybody.
1. Be nice and friendly; respect all other cruisers.
2. Drive on the right side of the road.
3. Do not ramm/crash/bump other cruisers.

If driver wants to drift and he is not breaking rules (especially crash others) then it's ok for me.

This is more general topic - driving full road width - this is always pain, no mater if it's drifter or racer. I have some very annoying experience with some of FZ5 driver(s) - everytime I meet this guys (twice a lap) in curve, everytime they're in my lane. I'm strongly thinking about screenshooting this idiots.

IMO, the only problem is people not checking the map. I have a quick glance at the map; if I have a clear run I take the racing line, if there's traffic I slow down and stick to the right-hand side.
I think this best reflects real life, a broken centre-line (at least in the UK) means you can cross it if safe to do so.
One of the things I like about the CCS layouts is that they're fairly 'open'...I hate cruise servers where you feel like you're driving down a corridor of barriers.

Just my opinion!
